Viral $70 Ghosties

We were out for dinner in September, laughing over that viral ghost canvas from Michaels — so cute, but $70?! A little too spooky for the wallet! Luckily, Wendy from Kwendy Home had already made her own version, so we decided it would be our October craft project too. 👻✨
What you’ll need for the project:
Project cost for 2 canvas: $27
Cardboard
Instruction:
Cut a ghost shape from cardboard (1 or 2 will do)
Dip the cardboard in the stucko
Press on the canvas
Repeat until you feel like you have enough ghosts
Let the stucko dry
Paint the eyes
Tip: cut the ghost smaller then palm size, easier to manage
What we learned:
“Were we a little too over confident?” for a moment there it sure felt like it! As the ghosts didn’t take shape. It took a couple rows to find our groove with pasting the stucco on the canvas. Each canvas came out unique!
The Ghost Canvas price also dropped by mid October but who doesn’t want to get their hands covered in stucco?
